Quebec City
A city full of adventures, and the historic capital of Quebec. The city is a combination of the 18th century and the present. As its the only city with fortified walls in North America and is the only city in Canada that can be identified as a UNSECO world heritage site. The city is also the second most populous city in the province of Quebec with a population of about 530,000 people. The picture to the left shows the major buildings and places of the city. These include: Saint Louis Gate in the Ramparts, Quebec National Assembly,Parliament Hill and Bassin Louise waterfront area, Château Frontenac and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Vieux-Québec, and Pierre Laporte Bridge with Quebec Bridge. The city's current mayor is Régis Labeaume.
